EVER GREEN...

Ever GREEN on Mount-Royal
Yes, I did  intend to write "Ever Green", and not Evergreen "...an evergreen is a plant that has leaves throughout the year, always green. This contrasts with deciduous plants, which completely lose their foliage during the winter or dry season"  Wikipedia

I came upon this scene on the very top of Mount-Royal at the CROSS.  A single bright green leaf right in the midst of the leaves surrounding it appeared to my eyes to be dead, none the less BEAUTIFUL to my mind.  Interesting, that I would have two different experiences viewing the same scene.  This is what we do in LIFE we judge the appearance, and BELIEVE it is real. But actually how we PERCEIVE it in our mind is what is REAL, it then appears accordingly.

"HAPPINESS and SUFFERING can be divided into two main categories: MENTAL and PHYSICAL. Of the two, it’s the MIND that exerts the greatest influence over us. So long as we’re not ill or lacking basic necessities, and our body is content, we virtually ignore it. The MIND, however, registers everything that happens to us, no matter how SMALL. Therefore, we should focus our efforts on bringing about MENTAL PEACE." Dalai Lama (creative edit)
