TRUST THE REROUTE...

Trust the Reroute...

Sometimes your plans just do not work out the way you think they should, which can be disappointing and disorienting.  This is when you are CHALLENGED to TRUST THE REROUTE!

On this journey that I am on, I recall several reroutes which as I look back on them turned out to be a BLESSINGS in DISGUISE.  I cannot explain how I got to the place of the reroute, the reroute itself and most times the purpose of the reroute until sometime much later during an "aha moment".

The PURPOSE of the reroute could be to get you back on track having gotten off unaware, sometimes to protect you from circumstances unknown to you beyond where you are NOW, and then just because and we may never know WHY just PATIENTLY ACCEPT.

I am GRATEFUL for this morning's reroute which began to unfold right when I was preparing to leave for my next destination. As I was zipping my luggage the zipper broke.  I could not believe this was happening as I woke up early, packed, made my hostel reservation... everything I was ALL set! Because I had done everything I knew to do, prepared myself etc. I became not only disappointed, but also disoriented.  I did not understand WHY after doing everything I was to do, WHY this would happen.  I began to doubt myself.  I did go out and purchased another piece of luggage, came back and REPACKED, sorting through my belongings, seeing how much I simply did not need... then the emotions entered in and I mourned the past, present and future.  The past because of what I have been through on this journey.  The present because of the current situation and the future because in that moment it appeared uncertain... I did not know what I was going to do.

I went back to the hostel where I was staying in Milan which was truly a WONDERFUL experience. DIVINE PROVIDENCE greeted me in the way of assistance from the staff, and the assurance that these things happen... ALL IS WELL!  My plans were in fact changed, everything worked out and my TRUST in the ONE that arranges the REROUTE rose another level higher!

THE GRAVEYARD OF UNOPENED GIFTS...

Graveyard of Unopened Gifts...

GIFTS that are given to us by the BENEVOLENT UNIVERSE.  Universal Gifts of the Holy Spirit: Unconditional Love, Abundant Life, Beauty, Peace that Passes Understanding, Poise, Power, Joy Beyond Happiness, Wealth NOT contingent upon things including money, Health NOT dependent upon pills etc.

We ALL have been given a DIVINE PORTION, a portion of the Holy Spirit which is WHOLE, PERFECT & COMPLETE lacking in nothing. However the GIFT is within each one of us, INDIVIDUALLY.  There is NO competition... HOW CAN THERE BE?!!  The Holy Spirit CANNOT compete against itself:

"Every kingdom divided against itself is headed for destruction, and no city or house divided against itself will stand." Matthew 12:25

Mankind is a WHOLE body, city or house, ONE Spirit with individual expressions, each UNIQUE. We must FORGIVE and LET GO of the THOUGHT that the misconception of competition is even possible, as it is... IMPOSSIBLE.

EVACUATE the graveyard, loosen the ties that bind and LET THE GIFTS UNFOLD!

Because it is a natural FACE LIFT and simultaneously lifts your Spirit.  On this journey far away from everyone and everything familiar to me I have become totally detached from everyone and everything around me, as they have NO meaning to me, not that they are not meaningful but I have no un- healthy ATTACHMENT... I can LET all come and go.

I PATIENTLY ACCEPT everyone and everything exactly as is.  I am becoming more and more emptied of that which no longer serves my Higher Being, and I am at PEACE within myself.  My companion on this journey within, aside from the Holy Spirit, is my copy of 'The POWER of NOW' a guide to Spiritual Enlightenment by Eckhart Tolle.  In the PEACE of NOW is the POWER of GOD which is all GOOD, no matter what or who is here... or not.  

A SMILE comes from deep within a Soul that is at PEACE, independent upon anyone and anything outside of itself, because it is WHOLE, PERFECT & COMPLETE just the way it is.  So go ahead and SMILE... it is after all your CHOICE!

Do not be disturbed about anyone or anything... it will soon pass. CONSIDER this: water flowing downstream is not disturbed by the little rocks or big boulders in its way... it simply flows over and around them.

The seasons come and go unaffected by the change, they merely LET GO allowing the unfoldment of the next season to follow.  Each season provides and prepares the conditions required for the MAGNIFICENT display of Nature's GRANDEUR, which includes all 4 seasons: Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn.  Each season is NECESSARY to the WHOLE existing HARMONIOUSLY.

FORGIVENESS in human nature is necessary for one and all to exist harmoniously as the UNIVERSAL WHOLE HUMAN RACE.

LET THERE BE PEACE ON EARTH THROUGH FORGIVENESS and HARMONY... and LET IT BEGIN WITH ME!

PASSPORT TO A NEW WORLD...

Yesterday was truly an AMAZING day with the company of old and new friends in a foreign country, language, culture and one of nature's MIRACLES that preserved the past to offer the PRESENT of NOW... the event of Mount Vesuvius and the ancient city of Pompeii.

Everyday is a PASSPORT of sorts in your life, a new chapter, a new discovery... a NEW YOU, because you will never be as you were before and rightfully so.  Let yourself GO, allow your Soul to SOAR.  I read the marquee of a church on Madison Avenue in New York City one day while strolling in my own world, which so inspired me that I stopped and wrote it down, one of my "stop and smell the roses" moments, doesn't have to be roses necessarily!

RISING FROM THE ASHES...

Rising From the Ashes...

All of our experiences in the book called LIFE! The story of LIFE has already been written in the beginning, is NOW and forever more shall be an ever unfolding... NOW!  LIVE the present NOW as if it is the ONLY time there is, because the TRUTH is... IT IS!

Today, this NEW day I am on a day trip from Napoli, with my host and friends to Pompeii, an ancient city which existed and was devastated (by Mount Vesuvius) since the time before CHRIST in 79 AD... what an AMAZING thought.

Having returned this evening from a very long day in Pompeii and downtown Napoli... back to the FUTURE, I can't help but think what happened was meant to happen, because it did.  We don't always know WHY something happens  and for NOW we must just ACCEPT until and/or unless it is explained.  Sometimes there just simply is NOT an answer to why... IT JUST IS.  I was able to look back enumerating my life experiences leading up to NOW, with my friend and I realized how far I have come in my THOUGHT PROCESS from where I was then.

The ancient city of Pompeii was excavated from the ashes of Mount Vesuvius those many, many years ago and today "lives" to tell the story long ago... NOW.  You and I too rise from the "ashes" of our life experiences day after day, excavating our lives out from under the challenges in LIFE that help us to grow stronger, wiser and a more compassionate mankind.  "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden..."  Matthew 5:14

RESTART...EVERYTHING IS YOURS!

Restart... Everything Is Yours!

Today, right NOW is a NEW day, a RESTART and EVERYTHING that is for you... IS YOURS! CLAIM that which is yours by DIVINE RIGHT: "...according to the RICHES in GLORY in CHRIST JESUS for you."  From the beginning of time that is NOW in each individual life experience to NOW in this moment and every moment to follow that which is yours...  IS YOURS!

Even if your life experience is in ruins, you can right NOW in this very moment... RESTART. You can begin again with a NEW THOUGHT, a new "state of mind" in the direction you would truly like to go. As you remain FOCUSED and DISCIPLINED in your THOUGHT PROCESS you will in time experience that which is yours. 

The beginning of a new month April 1st (and NO April Fools), in a new season Spring which began a few weeks ago is as good a time as any to RESTART... EVERYTHING IS YOURS!
