Direct Your Children...

PROVERB is an action ACTION word.  Pro "a meaning of advancing or projecting forward or outward" Verb "is a word that expresses action or a state of being".

DIRECT your children onto the right path, that is RIGHT for them beginning with a good foundation of VIRTUES "the good result that comes from something".  Something, for instance showing by example and inviting your child to JOIN you in VOLUNTEERING "Volunteering may have positive benefits for the volunteer as well as for the person or community served". - wikipedia

When directing your child with the FOCUS primarily on getting good grades, how you look, what you have, getting a good education and higher education, getting a good job the result then is self-performance. There is NOTHING wrong with these things necessarily, however unfortunately for most later in your life you may find yourself asking the question... "WHAT WAS IT ALL FOR?" Some may rationalize that they are passing something on to their children, but what exactly are they passing on to their children?  "Things including money" would be the answer, and there will be the feeling of a "hollow victory" in the space where your "heart" once was... WHEN YOU WERE A CHILD.

As I travel and have a lot of time to meditate on where I began, where I am NOW and where I am headed I am asking myself this question, observing the answers and vowing to re-imagine myself for a GREATER GOOD.  I am also questioning the parenting I gave my child  when I was "directing him onto the right path", especially NOW in this season of our relationship.  

It is an ongoing process this WONDERFUL bond between parent and child, this guiding and directing, this continued nurturing, supporting, encouraging, instilling VIRTUES and LETTING GO as they proceed on the path ahead of them with the HOPE that "when they are older, they will not leave it!"

RETURNING A DIFFERENT WAY HOME...

Returning A Different Way Home...

LOGOS OR THE WORD...

LOGOS or the WORD...

EVERYTHING begins with LOGOS or the WORD: THOUGHTS and IDEAS which are a collection of WORDS.

What this illustrates is the POWER of the WORD to BECOME what it IS.  This is also WHY it is highly IMPORTANT the WORDS we THINK and SPEAK... which will in "time" come into BEING. As the WORD of GOD in the BEGINNING (invisible) manifested as Jesus Christ and became flesh (visible), so will our words.

WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE?

Open the Door to Your Heart to Receive!

Then GIVE FOR IT... FOR-GIVE!  In some languages WORDS can be written in such a way that a word like FORGIVE could be GIVE FOR, which really makes a lot of sense.  You give up hate for LOVE...

I BEGIN my day with prayer to GOD thanking HIM for being with me through the night and for waking me to a brand new day NEVER before lived.  HE does not GIVE me left overs from the day before... "Great is HIS faithfulness; HIS mercies BEGIN afresh each morning." Lamentations 3:23   I go on to CHOOSE for today from the UNIVERSAL TABLE of GOOD the WORDS I would like to become as my experience which ACCUMULATES... daily!

Another thing I do as part of my morning habits is to GIVE my fellow photographers on YouPic.com Photography Gallery a "favorite" and "repic" on their photographs, as well as a star nomination, tweet them on Twitter, share them on Google+ and pin them on Pinterest.  I BELIEVE this sets the tone for RECEIVING across the board in my life, not just on YouPic.  It is a way that I PROVE my COMMITMENT to FORGIVING in my life, so that I will be FORGIVEN.  It FEELS GOOD, too!

So "What would you like?"  FORGIVE... GIVE something FOR it and open the door to your heart to RECEIVE!

THERE WILL BE AN ANSWER...

Let It Be!

LET IT BE!

WORDS woke me up this morning, however I had to rise in order to walk across the room to write them down.  The temptation to stay in bed, fooling myself into believing I will remember had foiled me too many times in the past before an "aha" realization awakened me to the fact this was not working.  So the pen and pad across the room gets me out of the bed and into my writing AFTER prayer and meditation which are NOW habits I have acquired.

Sitting on the sofa, watching the delicate pink blossoms "dancing" in the breeze just outside the window, drifted into MUSING about "what's next" in this journey I am on.  Yesterday I celebrated the completion of 9 months travelling, on the 25th of each month since I began.  Lyrics of the song title "Let It BE" by the Beatles, spontaneously came into my awareness in response to my question.

SIMPLY... "let it be" it sang to me. WHATEVER "it" is... LET "IT" BE.  LET IT BE!

A WHOLE NEW WORLD...

A Whole New World...

This morning in the space of 1 hour between 10:00 - 11:00 am it began snowing lightly, then the large fluffy flakes seemed to float in slow motion as if dancing, then rapidly first from the right and then the left succeeding to blue skies with clouds and Sun, this pattern continued throughout the day here in Munich, Germany. I was AMAZED at such weather patterns I have never seen before... AMAZING, and reassuring that it is the work of the CREATOR, because NO man could have CONCEIVED or ACHIEVED such a WONDER! PRAISE and THANKS BE TO ALMIGHTY HOLY GOD... I AM in AWE!

There is NO lack.  There is NO limitation. There are NO boundaries to ENERGY which is what GOD IS and we are.  GOD in the BEGINNING created us in HIS Image and Likeness, this is the TRUTH of your being and mine.  Since GOD IS ALL there IS it is IMPOSSIBLE to "see" GOD (the Invisible), however mankind is a manifested (visible) expression or part of ALL THERE IS... GOD! Our finite minds, ONE with the DIVINE MIND which is INFINITE (in-the-finite) is our CONNECTION.

Travel outside of my COMFORT ZONE has opened up to me a whole new world.  I could not in my greatest IMAGINATION believe that what I have experienced these past 9 months would have been possible for me to experience.  The COST is not mine, but that of DIVINE BENEVOLENCE in its PROMISE of PROVISION (pro-vision) for me to BEGIN, take the first STEP... MARCH FORTH!

A whole new world awaits you as well BEYOND your self imposed boundaries of lack and limitation conceived within your own mind.  Absolutely NO ONE and NO THING LIMITS YOU except your inability to THINK and IMAGINE BEYOND YOUR PAST THOUGHTS which are only a collection of WORDS.

A WHOLE NEW WORLD requires NEW THOUGHTS, NEW WORDS which BECOME NEW BELIEFS... your CHOICE!

HOW DO YOU ANSWER THE PHONE?

How Do You Answer the Phone?

The WORDS you use when you answer the phone are NOT as important as the TONE with which you use the WORDS to answer the phone!

Hello, Hey, Bonjour, Buongirno, Guten Tag, Guten Morgen, Buenos Dias, Hallo, Hola et al... These are just WORDS in different languages conveying the same greeting.  The Spirit behind the greeting, now that is where the CONVERSATION begins.
 
The TONE sets the mood of the interchange of THOUGHTS, WORDS and IDEAS.
 
You know when you phone someone and the energy with which it is answered, IF YOU ARE AWARE, can give you an indication of how the conversation will unfold.  This is not necessarily the case but in most cases it can be.  You can then CHOOSE to enter into the conversation, state you will call back at another time, or depending upon how well you know the person ASK what's going on with them.  Personally, I have no desire to use my time in idle chatter that is not conducive for GOOD, phone or not.  I genuinely desire to assist in the well being of another if they are open and if not I will silently wish them well.

Your energy will either UPLIFT or DEFLATE the Spirit of another, however bear in mind that which you give out will at some point in the future NOW return to you!  CHOOSE your THOUGHTS, WORDS, IDEAS and set the TONE of delivery wisely, as your own life experiences depend upon it... phone or not!

We seem to not REMEMBER or are just not CONSCIOUS enough of the TRUTH mankind was CONCEIVED first in the DIVINE MIND of the CREATOR, mankind being the creation like the "POTTER is to the clay".  The clay does not tell the CREATOR who or what it is to be.  We also do not remember or CHOOSE not to seek to know WHO we are as creations in the BEGINNING. Digging deep and deeper, meditation, seeking within helps us to KNOW what the DIVINE PLAN is for our lives, in order for each to live a WHOLE, PERFECT and COMPLETE expression of the ONE LIFE... THIS IS ABSOLUTELY POSSIBLE, and we must do the work!

"Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater" BEGINS with ourselves then we would be less inclined to behave as if we are all the same in our development and expression.  We would be more sensitive to the child(ren) in our care as parents, caregivers, teachers, employers et al to "see" ourselves first, and then each other as INDIVIDUAL expressions of the CREATOR.

I was invited to speak with yet another class of 10th grade students today, and of course I ACCEPTED.  I came face to the faces of about 25 boys and girls just really beginning high school, not long ago out of junior high school. To me, there is clearly an opportunity to "plant" seeds into these young fertile minds that will surely take root, mature and grow into young people able to "master" themselves for their own sake and the sake of the generation they are heralding.  I BELIEVE even if they do not YET, they can and will do it!

These young people in Munich, Germany are my first Life Coaching audience, one of my "practice" target markets.  Take every OPPORTUNITY to practice what you are learning and desire to inspire... "Be ready in season and out of season." - 2 Timothy 4:2

The practice, however, BEGINS WITH YOURSELF.  How can you GIVE what you do not HAVE?

I just did a 17 second meditation, focused on CHOOSING. I had a vision of going into a BEAUTIFUL patisserie in Paris, France and CHOOSING a variety of INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL desserts to share with my family and friends, later.  One by one I CHOSE, and the lovely young lady serving me JOYOUSLY placed them delicately into a box.

This is HOW you CHOOSE your WORDS, your THOUGHTS, one by one!  "TODAY I CHOOSE..." “Go; let it be done for you as you have BELIEVED.” - Matthew 8:13

ATTACHMENTS...

Attachments...

ATTACHMENT is not contingent upon a person, place or thing... it is to the WORD, alone. The idea of attachment can be applied to anyone or thing and changes accordingly. Attachment does not discriminate, it just does what it is DIRECTED by your CHOICE.

FORGIVE THE IDEA OF ATTACHMENT IN YOUR MIND & THE EFFECT OF THE CAUSE WILL DISSOLVE.   YOU WILL THEN BE FREE OF THE DESIRE TO ATTACH.

I had a favorite pair of sunglasses I purchased in New York City that actually served me very well for many years, I looked good in them, and I truly enjoyed wearing them.  In other words I had "secretly" become attached to the sunglasses and even though the lens were a bit scratched I continued to wear them.  One day during my travel, while in Munich, Germany we became separated, I was unaware of this for 2 days.  On the 3rd day I realized they were not where I thought I put them the last time I wore them, and I had no idea when, where or how we became separated.  I must confess I felt the pang of loss, disappointment and disbelief that they were gone.  On the flip side of those feelings I also became acutely aware of ATTACHMENT... it was time to LET GO of the "beloved" sunglasses and the idea of ATTACHMENT.  In that moment I ACCEPTED what was happening and then I felt FREE.

Today, as I was preparing to go on a walking tour of Munich a THOUGHT occurred to me that I had gone to two locations on Friday (the last time I wore the sunglasses), Eataly and Trachten Vogl Cafe near the City Center of Munich.  Yesterday, I only went back to Eataly with no success in finding the sunglasses and on my way back to where I am staying I passed the cafe with no remembrance I had gone there there as well. I missed the walk, however had an AMAZING day anyway wandering up and down quaint little Bavarian cobblestone streets, listening to street musicians playing the xylophone, a violin, a saxophone and an occasional vocalist here and there. The streets of the City Center were bustling with working natives, families, students and tourists shopping, dining and sightseeing.  I checked with the cafe on my way in for the evening, asked about the sunglasses... and there they were after a 3 day separation we were reunited, NOW in a new and different relationship.

I imagine this to be a HARBINGER for relationships with family and friends I have been separated from, almost 1 year.  I look forward to our new and different RELATIONSHIP evolved ATTACHMENTS.

THE FUTURE IS AN IDEA... NOW!

The Future is an Idea... NOW!

Your IDEA right NOW is a product, event or experience in the FUTURE... NOW!
 
NOW IS ALL THERE IS.  THE TIME IS NOW, AS THERE CAN BE NO OTHER TIME BUT... NOW!

"Time" as we know it in this dimension is a measurement of "passing" experience.  Just as "age" is only a number that measures how long somebody or thing has been in existence. Where you are right now is an experience of yourself passing away. NOW is a PERFECT, WHOLLY and COMPLETE MOMENT where everything is... MEDITATE on this.  BE WHOLLY IN THE NOW, because this is where you are, isn't it?

When you see your IDEA NOW as a FUTURE product, event or experience you can have some confidence that it is POSSIBLE.  You need not have the sense that it will not work just because it does not instantly materialize before your eyes... BE PATIENT with yourself and DO THE WORK! Since NOW is ALL there IS, then as you work on unfolding the IDEA as it is revealed to you, when you get to the end the IDEA is ALREADY DONE (all ready and done).

HALF FULL, HALF EMPTY OR FULL...

Half Full, Half Empty or FULL...

PERSPECTIVE.  POINT OF VIEW. Both CHANGE depending on where you "stand"... including whether the glass is half full, half empty or FULL!
 
The Glass represents the WHOLE. 1/2 of the GLASS is filled with liquid, visible. 1/2 of the GLASS appears to be filled with "nothing", invisible. However, ALL SPACE IS FILLED WITH ENERGY.  The ENERGY becomes MATTER according to what "it" is, in this case wine.  The "space" above is ENERGY which is invisible corresponding to the "space" below which is visible... therefore the GLASS IS FULL seen with the METAPHYSICAL eye, which "sees" the invisible in the visible and the visible in the invisible.

“As above... so below, as within... so without, as the Universe... so the Soul.”  Hermes Trismegistus This way of "seeing" can also be applied to how you CHOOSE to see your life experiences and everything in it... half full, half empty or FULL!

GOD, CREATOR of the ENTIRE Universe DOES NOT PERCEIVE ITSELF IN PART... IT IS WHOLE OR NOTHING!  The wholeness that GOD is cannot all be seen by the physical eye, but can be perceived by the metaphysical eye of FAITH.  "But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve"  Joshua 24:15  The glass being full came to me during meditation recently, I could immediately understand and was filled with JOY about this revelation.  From that moment, my perception changed and I began to "see" things differently.  It is a different kind of "seeing" through the eyes of the HOLY SPIRIT that is within us all, we must ALLOW Spirit  to "perceive" through us rather than trust what the physical eye merely sees, which is according to what the mind BELIEVES.

Being on the "Leading Edge of Thought" will lead you into an intoxicating new level of THOUGHT!

I'm listening to INSPIRATIONAL people who are doing the "work" within themselves.  Poems, blogs, and writings that speak to my mind, heart and soul on this BEAUTIFUL Saturday in Munich at the home of a friend of mine where I will be until the end of April, INSPIRE me.  I've been in down time due to a bit of congestion that is teaching me to just BE where I am and let it REVEAL the PURPOSE for its visit... as this too shall pass.  I realize how BLESSED I am and how GRATEFUL for the many BLESSINGS I would like in turn to share with others... THE BEST IS YET TO COME and IT IS HERE NOW!

THE GRASS IS NOT GREENER ON THE OTHER SIDE...

IT IS THE SAME COLOUR... EVER GREEN, NATURE'S GOLD!  It is your perception that makes it DIFFERENT and therefore YOU EXPERIENCE YOUR OWN PERCEPTION.  It's like several individuals looking at a painting in an art gallery... THEY ALL HAVE THEIR OWN PERCEPTION OF WHAT THEY ARE VIEWING! It is your own POINT OF VIEW that you experience in LIFE... the same LIFE of which every "one" is a part of the WHOLE.

PATIENTLY ACCEPT DIFFERENCES... AS THAT IS ALL THEY ARE!

As far as someone else's perception, point of view, or whatever they think, say and do, WHY should that matter to me or that I should mind?!!  That is their THOUGHT, THEY said or did it, NOT me... I have my own, thank you very much!

EACH IS AN INDIVIDUAL MAGNIFICENT EXPRESSION of the DIVINE, MANIFESTING THAT EXPRESSION ALL THE TIME... GOOD or BAD AS YOU DECLARE IT!  BE CAREFUL, HOWEVER AS YOU CANNOT DECLARE A THING FOR SOMEONE ELSE... ONLY FOR YOURSELF!

You might THINK that when you THINK or SPEAK ill to or about someone else that that becomes them.  YOU THOUGHT IT OR SPOKE IT... IT IS YOURS!

I CHOOSE to only THINK and SPEAK GOOD about YOU... because this is what I CHOOSE for myself.  ONLY GOOD... EVER GREEN, NATURE'S GOLD!

THE QUESTION... HOW TO START?

The Question... How To Start?

Yesterday, I experienced something NEW in a new city, new people, and new culture here in Munich, Germany where I am staying currently with a friend who is a teacher.  I spoke with her English class of 11th grade students, and was asked by one of the students to come again today which I joyously ACCEPTED.  It was early to rise this morning with the opportunity of just rolling over and going back to sleep... which I'm glad I did not!  I did, however need to walk to totally wake up, the fresh air and walking meditation were both invigorating to my mind, body and soul.

Reaching the school on time then pondering where to go, a guy dressed in black (a teacher I thought) noticed me and I noticed him, he offered his assistance and I was led to the teacher's lounge to meet my friend. Fast forward to her English class again, the conversation, questions, insights, responses and inspiration ensued, as if we had only taken a brief break.  I LOVE these young people and I am GRATEFUL for their invitation to join them again this morning.  I am completely BLESSED and so are they, I HOPE so very much for each one of them!

The AMAZEMENT continued into the next hour with her Politics class of 11th grade students equally as engaging as the previous with the subject regarding DIFFERENCES between the "USA and Germany".  My diplomatic response is that I ACCEPT the DIFFERENCES of each nation being UNIQUE.  Since travelling I have a greater appreciation for other nations, USA, and in particular New York City. I am GRATEFUL to everyone and every experience along the way that has assisted me in gaining this new perspective.

My WONDERFUL day at school concluded with the teacher I encountered earlier asking me to speak with his English class of 10th grade students on April 26, which for me marks the beginning of my 10th month of travelling.  Looking back to Day #1, I mused: "To begin, BEGIN."

NEW GENUINE BEGINNINGS...

New Genuine Beginnings...

I am excited today to be speaking with a classroom full of high school juniors, the class of my friend who is a teacher in Munich, Germany.  I never even spoke with any of my son's classes in San Francisco or New York City... and now Munich, YES!  I KNOW this is going to be a TERRIFIC opportunity... I just KNOW it!

The School of Practical Philosophy email this morning before I left for the class confirmed my expectation:

The high school experience with the students was absolutely AMAZING.  The sense of young, genuine, full of potential energy and HOPE, not only for them but for myself and my young son.  I have such a strong desire to express what is within me, awakened by the experience of this "external opportunity", and look forward to the unfoldment of what's next.  I would like to help as many as possible to reach that place within themselves, that place of new GENUINE BEGINNINGS!

HOME IS NOT A PLACE YOU HANG YOUR HAT...

HOME is Not a Place You Hang Your Hat...

HOME... I have come to REALIZE is WITHIN me. "I" RESIDE HERE... the "I" that I AM!

This morning as I was preparing to go on a walking tour, while staying at the home of a young lady I met in Rome during the Easter holiday who invited me to stay at her home in Munich, Germany, I had a deeper realization of where/who I am on my journey.  I decided not to go on the walk as it had begun to rain and I was already experiencing a bit of a cold, so a 3 hours walking tour was not the best thing for me to do.  I went to the market to purchase ingredients for a hearty soup of carrots, celery, mushrooms, olives, onions, sausage and fresh tortellini. Listening to my absolute FAVORITE opera singer countertenor Philippe Jaroussky, cooking while contemplating what THOUGHTS I would share with you today, and musing about HOME.

"HOME, has come to mean for me as I travel from one place to another, a place where I LIVE my human LIFE experiences as a Spiritual Being."  Therefore no matter WHERE I am is HOME.  I am however growing weary of the travel being in my 9th month... INTERESTING the word travel is rather close to the word travail, and the fact that I am in my 9th month brings to mind PREGNANCY, and the travel/travail Joseph and Mary endured in her 9th month to give BIRTH to our LORD and SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST... A NEW IDEA!  You must travel or travail from the "old place" to the "new place".

GOD does not bring you to the moment of birth and not deliver – HE is not a man that HE should lie. The very fact that you are fighting for it, travailing for it, is the undeniable truth that it already exists. It is NOT something you are trying to create or speak into existence, IT ALREADY EXISTS! Just as a baby already exists in a mother's womb... never forget that.

I BELIEVE I am giving BIRTH to a NEW perspective and place of HOME for me... my "water has broken", I am in labor and the contractions are becoming closer to RE-BIRTH.  I FEEL IT!

I began this journey believing I was traveling to find my next place to live, but the IDEA has to happen first in mind.  You must LET GO of old past ideas in order to CONCEIVE new ideas in the present NOW, then you will be prepared to give BIRTH in the future... NOW!

HOME, the ultimate home can be wherever you are... YOU ARE THE HOME!

FEED YOURSELF GOOD WORDS...

Feed Yourself Good Words...

And GOOD THOUGHTS that nourish and strengthen your INNER SELF.  You are what you FEED yourself... physically, mentally as well as Spiritually.  Your WORDS are actually important and more POWERFUL than the food and drink you consume.

We all know the "cause and effect" of too much food and drink, especially when it does not nourish and strengthen the physical body.  But there is NEVER an ill "cause and effect" with the GOOD WORDS we feed our INNER SELF through our minds.

One of my favorite foods to eat is good cake with chocolate somewhere in it, on it or both! However I do not make a meal of it or consume it on a daily basis. Most times it is a special occasion enjoyed with a good cup of coffee or a glass of good red wine, and of course with good company.

YOU ARE NOT YOUR AGE...

You Are Not Your Age...

I never was my age, I am not now and I will never be... this is the same for you! Age is a number marking the years someone begins to exist on this earth, or something begins to take on some sort of "value" such as wine, cheese, meat or furniture etc.

Remember: Whatever you THINK you will experience.  Whatever you IDENTIFY with through your THOUGHT you will in due season... become.  Repetitious reciting words or sentences most times is not very reliable.  You must first LET GO of old past thought patterns or "state of mind" in order to experience new ones.

F.E.A.R...

F.E.A.R....

The acronym for FEAR is False Evidence Appearing Real, as in EVERYTHING you experience basically. The false evidence of illness of any kind, one illness is no more or less real than another. Now, I know I will get some people who would like to debate with me about this declaration and they will get NO argument from me... IT IS UNTO YOU AS YOU CHOOSE TO BELIEVE! DIVINE MIND, also will NOT argue with you about what you CHOOSE to think and believe in your own mind. After all we have FREE CHOICE, FREE WILL and whether we are aware of it or not we will REAP what we SOW in due season.

FEAR producing situations, circumstances and conditions are ALL false evidence appearing real. Therefore, PATIENTLY ACCEPT the APPEARANCES AS THEY ARE, DO NOT JUDGE OR LABEL THEM... THEY ARE NOT REAL and will in time pass away into the NOTHINGNESS from which they came.

ONLY the FRUITS of the HOLY SPIRIT are REAL: Unconditional LOVE, Abundant LIFE, Unlimited SUBSTANCE, BEAUTY not contingent upon outside appearances, Boundless HEALTH, PEACE that passes Understanding, and JOY that goes far beyond Happiness to name a few...

WE ARE ALL NOMADS...

We Are All Nomads...

In LIFE we are all NOMADS of some sort.  IF you carry around with you even the smallest purse, wallet, shopping bag, briefcase, backpack, suitcase etc., moving from one place to another whether it is to the corner store, bus stop, train station, school or work somewhere... you are some sort of NOMAD! A NOMAD is not a "dirty" word, but of course if you CHOOSE to THINK it is... IT IS YOUR CHOICE, and you in fact will experience your THOUGHT!

We ALL get caught up in what we THINK, however be careful... "As a Man THINKETH..." SO IS HE and NOT what he thinks is!  EVERYTHING BEGINS and ENDS within the one thinking whatever THOUGHTS he CHOOSES TO ENTERTAIN IN HIS OWN MIND.  Even as Spiritual Beings having a human experience we CARRY around a body that houses the mind with which we THINK, therefore again... we are all NOMADS!

THERE IS NO OUT-side IT IS ONLY THE MANIFESTATION OF THE IN-side... do not be fooled by APPEARANCES!  They are the exact REFLECTION of THOUGHT... YOUR THOUGHT!

TRUST THE REROUTE...

Trust the Reroute...

Sometimes your plans just do not work out the way you think they should, which can be disappointing and disorienting.  This is when you are CHALLENGED to TRUST THE REROUTE!

On this journey that I am on, I recall several reroutes which as I look back on them turned out to be a BLESSINGS in DISGUISE.  I cannot explain how I got to the place of the reroute, the reroute itself and most times the purpose of the reroute until sometime much later during an "aha moment".

The PURPOSE of the reroute could be to get you back on track having gotten off unaware, sometimes to protect you from circumstances unknown to you beyond where you are NOW, and then just because and we may never know WHY just PATIENTLY ACCEPT.

I am GRATEFUL for this morning's reroute which began to unfold right when I was preparing to leave for my next destination. As I was zipping my luggage the zipper broke.  I could not believe this was happening as I woke up early, packed, made my hostel reservation... everything I was ALL set! Because I had done everything I knew to do, prepared myself etc. I became not only disappointed, but also disoriented.  I did not understand WHY after doing everything I was to do, WHY this would happen.  I began to doubt myself.  I did go out and purchased another piece of luggage, came back and REPACKED, sorting through my belongings, seeing how much I simply did not need... then the emotions entered in and I mourned the past, present and future.  The past because of what I have been through on this journey.  The present because of the current situation and the future because in that moment it appeared uncertain... I did not know what I was going to do.

I went back to the hostel where I was staying in Milan which was truly a WONDERFUL experience. DIVINE PROVIDENCE greeted me in the way of assistance from the staff, and the assurance that these things happen... ALL IS WELL!  My plans were in fact changed, everything worked out and my TRUST in the ONE that arranges the REROUTE rose another level higher!

THE GRAVEYARD OF UNOPENED GIFTS...

Graveyard of Unopened Gifts...

GIFTS that are given to us by the BENEVOLENT UNIVERSE.  Universal Gifts of the Holy Spirit: Unconditional Love, Abundant Life, Beauty, Peace that Passes Understanding, Poise, Power, Joy Beyond Happiness, Wealth NOT contingent upon things including money, Health NOT dependent upon pills etc.

We ALL have been given a DIVINE PORTION, a portion of the Holy Spirit which is WHOLE, PERFECT & COMPLETE lacking in nothing. However the GIFT is within each one of us, INDIVIDUALLY.  There is NO competition... HOW CAN THERE BE?!!  The Holy Spirit CANNOT compete against itself:

"Every kingdom divided against itself is headed for destruction, and no city or house divided against itself will stand." Matthew 12:25

Mankind is a WHOLE body, city or house, ONE Spirit with individual expressions, each UNIQUE. We must FORGIVE and LET GO of the THOUGHT that the misconception of competition is even possible, as it is... IMPOSSIBLE.

EVACUATE the graveyard, loosen the ties that bind and LET THE GIFTS UNFOLD!
